Condado de Haza-2017

The best introduction to the wines made by Familia Fernández Rivera at Condado de Haza is its Crianza: a powerful, elegant, mellow wine with just the right application of oak. The prestigious American magazine Wine Spectator hailed Condado de Haza Crianza 2012 as the best Ribera del Duero wine and the second-best Spanish wine, placing it among the top 100 wines in the world.

WINERY: Condado de Haza
BRAND: Condado de Haza Crianza
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%
VARIETY: 100% Tempranillo

TASTING NOTES
LOOK: Clear and shiny. Cherry-red colour with a violet rim.

SMELL: Intense on the nose with aromas of black fruits such as blackberries. Slight touch of liquorice with spicy notes from the ageing in American oak.

TASTE: Meaty wine with well-integrated acidity, highlighting rounded tannins that show good volume and persistence in the mouth. Aromas of liquorice can be appreciated in the aftertaste.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 12 ºC–14 ºC.

CONSUMPTION: Ready for drinking, it will continue to develop in the bottle. Decant 30 minutes before serving to oxygenate. It may contain sediments as it has not undergone any filtration process to get a more natural wine, but this does not affect the quality of the wine.
